Key Accounts Manager

 

We are looking for a Key Accounts Manager to retain top customers and nurture key relationships over time. Additionally, they are to become a strategic partner and advisor to the client while exploring new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit.

 

Key Responsibilities

Implement proper account management of all the accounts within their jurisdiction including, forward demand planning, joint business plans, management of account receivables.

Implement customer retention and growth strategies of all accounts within their jurisdiction while recruiting new ones to ensure the attainment of monthly sales targets.

Manage technical resource attached to their territory to ensure all technical service needs of their existing and prospective customers are met including timely complaint resolution, timely dissemination of tech advisory services, proper implementation, and documentation of precast, during and post-casting audit checklists.

Maintain a funnel list of prospective customers and follows through to conversion through proper implementation of market storms in his assigned territory and follow up.

Ensure correct and up to date market intelligence information is gathered and filed to help management with decision making.

Implement developed sales strategies to ensure steady business growth from both existing and new customers.

Ensure collection of due accounts for all customers under their management.

Recommend new business development plans in line with emerging needs, industry trends, customer tastes and preferences.

Support logistics team with advance planning and provision of accurate account information to aid with delivery preparedness, site readiness, choice of mixers and pumps to help optimize their utilization.

100% achievement of set weekly and monthly sales targets.

100% customer complaint resolution within agreed timelines as determined by case complexity.

100% existing customer retention.

100% adherence to weekly reports submission including updated funnel list of new and prospective customers, weekly existing customer delivery plans, and market intelligence reports.

100% implementation of agreed marketing activities including market storms within set timelines.

100% adherence to customer trading terms for all customers within assigned territory.

Zero delays to start work for pre-booked jobs for clients within territory because of lack of readiness.

Zero accidents during casting in all sites within their jurisdiction.

 

Personal Specification

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.

Professional Affiliation: N/A

Experience: At least 4 years experience working in a sales and marketing department

Knowledge: Customer types and categorization, concrete products, market, and competitors

Skills, Abilities and Core Competencies: Excellent in strategic planning, commercial awareness, interpersonal sensitivity, problem-solving skills, organization skills, sound business acumen, leadership and personnel management, project management, and attention to detail

Behaviours: Accountability and utmost integrity
